I'm working on the many forms, letters and plans for the coming school year, so I'm currently knee deep in word processing files. I enjoy this part of teaching, but the work load is pretty intense.
Along with that, I'm working on writing up the information for the teacher version of this site. I have to be honest - I haven't gotten very far.
I've also been working nearly every morning at Huntington Learning Center. It's significantly different from classroom teaching for many reasons, but it's close enough that it feels very much like a warm-up for the school year. I'm glad I took the job, as it seems like a very good way to ease back into teaching.
Oh! WONDERFUL news! Simon (our priest from Oxford) and his wife, Jane, had their baby!! YAY! He's absolutely adorable and I'm so happy for them! We need to go get them a little something and send it along. The kid's a week old and he already has friends on other continents!
