I just got back a bit ago from my dinner in Orlando. I had a nice time but feel a bit bloated. Not from the food, but with the overly generous gifts my friends provided. Crazy! I don't remember receiving so many gifts for a birthday for quite some time. Thanks to all who were so kind. And thanks for the many kind notes and comments left by friends, readers and students. It's been a pretty good birthday.
Earlier today it was your basic calm Wednesday. I ran some errands, did some housework, etc. Then friends came over, we went to Orlando, and now I'm waiting until 2 because I'm going to call and wake Andrew up at 7 his time. So I thought I'd do a quick update.
There's a cockroach (the nasty, big, Florida kind) on our porch outside the glass doors, so the cats are having fun trying to get at it through the glass. It's my two younger kittys' birthday today, too. Meow!
