1. What was the last song you heard?
Hmm . . . I always have a song in my head (currently "Show me Love" by Robyn or however she spells her name; although that's going in and out intermittently and replacing itself with Richard X vs. Liberty X's "Ain't Nobody" thanks to Andrew). So it's hard to remember what the last song I heard outside my own head was. I think it was the new Mel C. song on BBC Radio 1 this morning, right before the 7:00 news.
2. What were the last two movies you saw?
In the cinema: About Schmidt and, before that, Chicago. Of the two, I liked About Schmidt much better.
In general: I watched about half an hour of The Man with Two Brains (Steve Martin movie from the 70s) last night while waiting for the MCR taxi to pick me up. I was just in the Hertford College lodge and it happened to be on. Monday evening I watched Othello with Lawrence Fishburne.
3. What were the last three things you purchased?
To be honest, other than food from Hertford hall or a sandwich shop, this is hard to remember. I love to shop, but can't afford much these days. I mean I love to shop.
I bought a Coke at the newsstand on my way home two days ago. I was hoping for Vanilla Coke (Rich has now officially seen it in a store in Oxford), but they didn't have any and the cashier looked at me like I was nuts when I asked about it. I think the most recent non-food purchases were my outfit for the black tie dinner last weekend: floral dress, fishnet hose and black heels (total cost: less than £40).
4. What four things do you need to do this weekend?
Only four, huh? (1) I need to go to the drug store and get a few items: hair stuff, face wipes (because we have a REALLY REALLY REALLY tiny bathroom sink which is not only too small to wash my face in but also has separate hot and cold taps and therefore is WAY too scalding or freezing to rinse one's face) and dental floss. (2) I need to email our family and friends with our flight details for when we go back to visit Florida in about a week. (3) I need to dye my hair. (4) I need to work on my novel.
5. Who are the last five people you talked to?
Andrew (a.k.a. Mr. Hughey), PJ, Steve (MCR president), Linda and Liam.
Posted by Erin at March 7, 2003 02:33 PMAs for your No. 3-- I am still amazed that you managed to get such a great deal on that dress and shoes (both of which rock) for less than £40. I really do need to take you along next time I need clothes!
Posted by: Andrew (L'Autre) at March 7, 2003 05:26 PMMaybe it is just me, but I think that Andrew would look rather foolish in a floral pattern dress and fishnets...
As for the travel details, it would be cool to know when y'all are coming. Look forward to seeing you soon. :)

Posted by: Joe at March 8, 2003 08:30 PMHA! I'm hoping you will be emailing me with your trip details! I need to find shows!
