- Select one of the three Division/Classification essays from Longman, pp.192-214
- Complete the Pre-Reading Journal entry in your journal
- Read the essay
- Answer the Questions for Close Reading (you may skip the definition one) and Writer's Craft questions and turn in
- Read other questions for essay ideas
- Look at essay ideas list on pp. 215-216
- Work on drafts
